Colorado Landscape Curbing, Inc. was
established in 2004. Lane Monks, the owner,
saw concrete edging while living in Grand
Junction, Colorado, and thought it would be
a great addition for homeowners along the
Front Range. Lane has several years
experience in pouring concrete, starting out
by pouring flatwork for his grandfather.
In 2004, the goal of the company was to
design and pour concrete edging for our
customers. In 2006, Colorado Landscape
Concrete Curbing, Inc. expanded to become a
full service landscape company.
COMMON QUESTIONS- (Below are our most asked
questions and the answers to each)
Q: How long will the concrete last?
A: Simply put, it is concrete. It
will last the same amount of time as a
sidewalk or driveway.
Q: What keeps the edging from moving?
A: It is the same physics as your sidewalk.
The concrete suctions to ground and keeps it
from moving.
Q: Will it crack?
A: Concrete can crack. For prevention, we do
expansion joints every three feet, and put
reinforcement cable through the curb. We
also add fiber mesh to the concrete mixture
to make it stronger.
